Porter
Department: Housekeeping
Job Title: Housekeeper/Porter
Status: FULL TIME
Hours: 1PM-9PM
Position Start Date: 3/1/2023
Description:
- Ability to follow oral directions

Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions from supervisor, and as outlined in our established policy and procedures
- Ability to perform cleaning procedures (such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, washing etc.) as required in accordance with facility policy.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping and/or in a long term care facility preferred.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Compliance with applicable health laws and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.
- Previous experience in a Long Term Care Facility preferred.
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthesis that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
- Must be able to lift and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
