REGISTERED NURSE

Position Start Date: 7/6/2023
Description:
- Ability to follow established standards of nursing practices and implement facility policies and procedures.
- Ability to supervise and evaluate all the direct care and initiate corrective action as necessary.
- Ability to direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the long term care facility.
Requirements:
- Compliance with applicable health laws and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.
- Current Licensure as Registered Nurse by the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
- Previous experience in a Long Term Care Facility preferred
- Ability to speak read and write English.
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthesis that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met
- Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
- Must be able to lift and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
