Job Title: Plant Operator
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46235
Rate: $19.64/hr on w2.
Schedule Time Zone: Monday-Friday 6am to 2:30pm
Duration: 3 Months
Qualifications:
Industrial/Manufacturing experience 1-3 years history.
Prior forklift experience is ideal.
- No requirement of forklift certifications
Outdoor and indoor work.
Job Description:
Perform rounds and readings of equipment
Perform tank sampling and product transfers as needed
Perform Preventive Maintenance as required on all equipment
Perform contamination / performance troubleshooting and participate in QIR investigation as needed
Keep work areas clean and orderly
Comply without exception to all safe chemical handling protocols and best practices
Participate in monthly safety meetings and promote a safe work environment
Participate in safety audits / inspections as needed
Tracking of new material qualifications
Participate with Facilities and Production Team leaders on issues and projects
Incident reporting – immediately report all incidents to supervisor or manager
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
General Requirements:
Solid understanding of chemical processing systems.
Knowledge of mechanical processing systems.
Computer literate in MS Office.
Strong teamwork, communication and organizational skills.
Uncompromising commitment to safety.
Capable of operating powered-industrial equipment and lifting heavy objects.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Moderate to heavy lifting.
Self-motivated individual with initiative.
Punctual and reliable attendance.
PPE Requirements if any Metatarsal boots, safety glasses (we will provide)
Working Conditions (IE Office, Warehouse, Ect) Plant
