We are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our law firm. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in family law and have excellent skills in legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing for trial.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in various civil litigation matters
- Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests
- Attend and conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations
- Prepare for trial, including developing case strategy and preparing witnesses
- Negotiate settlements with opposing parties
- Stay current with legal developments and case law relevant to civil litigation
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Nevada Bar
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense/personal injury defense/ construction defect
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work under pressure
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
