This role is 100% remote, and the candidate must be based in Arizona or Utah.
Responsibilities
As an Associate Attorney, you will be expected to
- Handle a diverse caseload involving civil litigation, wrongful death, and construction defect cases.
- Provide high-quality legal advice and assistance to our clients, ensuring their legal rights and interests are protected.
- Conduct thorough and meticulous depositions to gather crucial information for cases.
- Represent clients in court trials, presenting strong arguments and evidence to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Engage in commercial litigation, managing cases from inception through to resolution.
- Draft, review, and manage legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Defend insurance companies in litigation, utilizing your expertise to achieve the best possible outcomes.
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the Arizona or Utah Bar.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, wrongful death, construction defect, and employment law.
- Proven experience in providing legal advice and assistance.
- Experience in conducting depositions and handling trials. Trial experience is a significant plus.
- Proficiency in commercial litigation and managing legal documents.
- Experience in insurance defense is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and legal professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
