We are seeking an associate attorney to join our highly experienced team of attorneys.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn all stages of working a case and is excited about the opportunity to work within a multigenerational and multi-ethnic team. This candidate has high integrity, is a self-starter, and has great critical thinking skills.
The ideal candidate enjoys being outside of traditional office space and is highly interested in working at a trial-based law firm that frequently services the upstate of South Carolina. This candidate will be able to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation setting.
They will be able to make court appearances, and complete pleading drafts, summits, complaints, and motions. They are familiar with completing extensive legal research and writing on behalf of a case and are comfortable with managing cases independently with oversight from the managing attorney.

What Will You Do…
- Practice within a general practice law firm (Family, Civil, Criminal, and Personal Injury).
- Independently manage cases that are assigned and operate as the point of contact for client follow-ups or inquiries.
- Conduct extensive legal research and writing.
- Make frequent court appearances on behalf of cases that are managed.
- Conduct pleadings, drafts, summits, complaints, and motions.
- Consult with potential clients to retain and onboard them for the firm.
- Learn and exercise the process for billable hours.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Juris Doctorate Degree
- Candidate must be licensed to practice law in the state of South Carolina or scheduled to sit for the bar within a year
- Must have at least 2 professional references
- New Law School Graduates are encouraged to apply
