We are searching for a Permanent Associate Attorney to join our esteemed law firm. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and talented lawyer who is passionate about trial law and eager to make a significant impact in our organization. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in trial law, demonstrating a solid understanding of litigation strategies, court proceedings, and legal guidelines.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your duties will include but are not limited to
- Representing our clients in court and presenting evidence to defend clients or argue against the opposition.
- Conducting research on legal issues and drafting legal documents, including briefs, appeals, wills, contracts, and real estate documents.
- Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations.
- Negotiating settlements in civil disputes to avoid trial when necessary.
- Collaborating with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.
- Participating in depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and hearings.
- Ensuring all legal actions in the trial are ethical and within the law.
- Keeping updated with the latest legal trends and regulations to enhance the quality of our legal services.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A current license to practice law.
- 2 years of experience as a trial lawyer, demonstrating a proven track record in court trials.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal arguments clearly and persuasively.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to handle large amounts of data, identify critical issues, and provide useful legal insights.
- High ethical standards and professionalism, respecting confidentiality and demonstrating integrity in all actions.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
