Responsibilities
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and support on a wide array of employment-related issues including, but not limited to, hiring practices, terminations, employee discipline, leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, and wage and hour compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate Collective Bargaining Agreements.
- Represent the firm in legal proceedings such as trials and hearings.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal problems.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Employment Law and Collective Bargaining Agreements.
- Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
- Proven track record of successfully advising on and negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong ability to draft and review legal documents, analyze legal advice, and apply legal principles and precedents.
