We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our legal team, you will handle a diverse caseload involving Civil Litigation, Construction Defect, Employment Law, and Commercial Litigation. This position offers the flexibility of 100% remote work for candidates based in Arizona or Utah. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of legal advice and assistance, depositions, trial experience, and insurance litigation.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of civil litigation, including construction defect, employment law, and commercial litigation.
- Provide legal advice and assistance to clients, demonstrating a clear understanding of their needs and objectives.
- Conduct thorough and detailed depositions, ensuring all relevant information is collected.
- Prepare, draft, and review legal documents meticulously, ensuring they meet all legal requirements.
- Represent clients in court, presenting their case convincingly and professionally.
- Liaise with insurance companies, negotiating and settling claims in the best interest of our clients.
- Stay updated with the latest legal developments and changes in Arizona and Utah law.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team, sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Must possess a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a member in good standing of the Arizona or Utah Bar.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Associate Attorney, specifically with Civil Litigation, Construction Defect, Employment Law, and Commercial Litigation.
- Proven experience in providing legal advice and assistance.
- Experience in conducting depositions and trial experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Experience in insurance litigation is highly desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Must be based in Arizona or Utah, with the ability to work remotely 100% of the time.
