Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on new market tax credits, renewable energy law, and related matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents and contracts.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and regulatory matters.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and strategies.
- Work closely with other legal team members to develop and implement legal strategies and policies.
- Provide training and guidance to other team members on legal matters.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Associate Attorney, focusing on new market tax credits and renewable energy law.
- Member in good standing of a state bar.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to new market tax credits and renewable energy.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills, including legal research databases and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
