Are you a highly skilled CNC Machinist looking for an exciting new challenge? We are a leading company in the engineering industry, specializing in the aerospace and defense sectors. We are seeking a seasoned CNC Machinist who will bring precision, passion and expertise to our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience and a proven track record of excellence in CNC Machine Operation, Milling, Blueprint Reading, Precision Measurement, Quality Control, and Troubleshooting. This is a permanent position, offering the opportunity to work on highly specialized and complex projects, with a team of dedicated professionals.
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for
- Operating and maintaining CNC machines, lathes and mills to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding and milling.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics to set up CNC machines accordingly.
- Programming CNC machines according to the specifications of the task at hand.
- Measuring and examining completed products to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments.
- Maintaining quality control standards, implementing changes as necessary to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Troubleshooting problems with equipment or products, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Selecting and setting up the appropriate tools that are used in cutting, shaping and drilling.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Machinist.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines, lathes, mills and grinders.
- Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Excellent precision measurement skills.
- Proven experience in quality control and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in machine programming.
- Strong mathematical skills for making precise measurements and calculations.
- Experience in tooling, lathe operation, mill operation, and grinding.
- Prior experience in the aerospace and defense industries would be an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
