Located in Louisville, KY, we are hiring a Collections Specialist who has a background in corporate and/or B2B collections.
We are North America’s leader in unsaleable Beverage Destruction and Recycling. With regional recycling facilities across the US, we offer national services to the Alcohol and Non-alcohol Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Health & Beauty, and Industrial Alcohol industries.
Each year, we destroy and recycle over 35 million cases of distressed and unsaleable beverage products. Through these activities, we recycle and repurpose over 450 million pounds of packaging materials including glass, aluminum, and plastics.
Through this unique process, we convert beverage liquids and industrial alcohol byproducts into fuel-grade ethanol. This ethanol is utilized by major oil companies as a clean air additive in their gasoline blends. As our Nation’s agenda is increasingly focused on the need for renewable energy, we are finding new ways to make significant contributions.

Collections position duties/responsibilities
- Monitor accounts to identify overdue balances and prioritize collection efforts
- Reach out to clients with past due amounts via phone and/or email to inquire about payment status
- Maintain collections notes in accounting software (Great Plains)
- Investigate and resolve billing issues and request credits/ad hoc invoices when required
- Work with sales, customer service and accounting to address customer concerns and ensure accurate billing

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Corporate or B2B collections experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamic Great Plains a plus
- Associate degree preferred but not required
