We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Estate Planning Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to specialize in estate planning, trusts, and wills. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing legal counsel and support to clients, helping them navigate the complexities of estate planning and ensuring their assets and interests are protected.
Responsibilities:
As an Estate Planning Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Drafting, reviewing, and updating estate planning documents, including wills, revocable living trusts, powers of attorney, and caretaker instructions.
2. Providing expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of estate planning, including the creation and administration of family trusts.
3. Assisting clients in the establishment of a certificate of trust, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
4. Conducting thorough research on complex legal issues related to estate planning and trusts.
5. Collaborating with other legal professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client service.
6. Representing clients in probate court, if necessary.
7. Keeping up-to-date with the latest changes in estate planning laws and regulations.
8. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience practicing as an Estate Planning Attorney.
3. A valid license to practice law in the state.
4. Extensive knowledge of estate planning, wills, trusts, and related legal matters.
5. Proven experience drafting and reviewing estate planning documents, including wills, revocable living trusts, powers of attorney, and caretaker instructions.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in clear, understandable language.
7. Strong research and analytical skills.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
