Are you a seasoned forensic accountant with a knack for uncovering the hidden details in financial records? Do you enjoy the thrill of solving complex financial puzzles and have a passion for justice? If so, we are looking for a Permanent Forensic Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting Finance team. We need a financial detective who can analyze, interpret, summarize and present complex financial and business related issues in a manner which is both understandable and properly supported. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience in forensic accounting.

Responsibilities

As our Forensic Accountant, you will be responsible for

• Conducting forensic analysis of financial data.
• Preparing detailed reports on the findings of investigations.
• Testifying as an expert witness in court cases, as required.
• Providing litigation support to attorneys and other professionals.
• Applying your analytical skills to determine the value of businesses.
• Assisting in the detection and prevention of fraud.
• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
• Checking for financial mismanagement, waste, or fraud.
• Utilizing accounting, auditing, and investigative skills to analyze financial reports.
• Assisting in legal proceedings, including testifying in court as an expert witness and preparing visual aids to support trial evidence.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the position of Permanent Forensic Accountant should possess the following qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in forensic accounting.
• A Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF) certification.
• A Licensed Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) certification.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in litigation support and valuation of businesses.
• Strong financial analysis skills and knowledge of accounting principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to high-quality work.
