Job Details
We are seeking an entry level attorney to join our legal team as a Workers Compensation Defense Attorney. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in California Workers Comp cases and providing legal advice and guidance on a variety of legal matters. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in California Workers Comp cases
- Provide legal advice and guidance on a variety of legal matters
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
- Attend hearings and trials
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other legal professionals
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to California Workers Comp
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- 0-1 years of experience as a workers compensation defense attorney or workers compensation attorney
- Strong knowledge of California Workers Comp laws and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines
