We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and ambitious Permanent Litigation Associate to join our high-performing legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is eager to engage in high-stakes litigation, work on complex legal issues, and contribute to the success of our clients. The successful candidate will be working closely with senior partners and will have the opportunity to handle a wide range of litigation matters, with a particular focus on intellectual property disputes.
Responsibilities:
1. Representing clients in complex litigation matters, including intellectual property disputes, commercial litigation, and other civil proceedings.
2. Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda on various legal issues.
3. Drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, and managing discovery processes.
4. Developing case strategy in collaboration with senior partners and clients.
5. Providing legal advice to clients on potential litigation risks and strategies.
6. Participating in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
7. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and trends in the field of litigation and intellectual property.
8. Ensuring compliance with all court rules and deadlines, and managing case files effectively.
9. Participating in business development activities, including networking events and client meetings.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active membership in good standing with a State Bar.
3. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as an Associate Litigation Attorney or Intellectual Property Attorney.
4. Proven track record of representing clients in complex litigation matters.
5. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Ability to manage multiple cases and projects effectively, with a keen attention to detail.
8. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
