We are seeking an experienced Permanent Litigation Attorney with a focus on General Liability to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-stakes cases in a variety of sectors including healthcare, specialty care, senior living, sexual abuse, mass torts, and class actions.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Litigation Attorney, you will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities that require a high level of legal acumen, strategic thinking, and a commitment to client service. Your primary responsibilities will include
- Representing clients in complex litigation matters, managing cases from inception to conclusion.
- Developing and implementing litigation strategies, conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting motions and briefs, conducting legal research, and appearing in court.
- Analyzing legal issues related to general liability, healthcare, specialty care, senior living, sexual abuse, mass torts, and class actions.
- Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
- Building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing strategic legal advice.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal developments in general liability and related fields.
To qualify for this exciting role, you must meet the following requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation attorney with a focus on general liability.
- Experience in healthcare, specialty care, senior living, sexual abuse, mass torts, and class actions is required.
- Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Ability to handle a high caseload and work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, judges, and opposing counsel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
