Are you a seasoned paralegal with a knack for litigation? If yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are a leading law firm in the legal industry, seeking a dynamic Contract Litigation Paralegal to join our team. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail. You will be working closely with our team of skilled attorneys, providing essential support in handling complex litigation cases. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
As a Contract Litigation Paralegal, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Assisting attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and meetings.
2. Conducting legal research and compiling information in a manner that can be easily understood and accessed.
3. Reviewing, analyzing, and organizing various legal documents related to litigation cases.
4. Drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents under the supervision of an attorney.
5. Coordinating with clients, witnesses, and other law firms to schedule depositions and meetings.
6. Maintaining case files and ensuring all relevant information is updated and recorded accurately.
7. Ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures during the litigation process.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Contract Litigation Paralegal position, you must possess the following:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in insurance defense litigation.
2. A paralegal certificate or equivalent legal qualification.
3. Proficiency in hearing and trial preparation.
4. Experience with document review and legal research.
5. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
7. Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
9. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
