Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, your primary duties will include :
1. Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and fix them before they lead to significant problems.
2. Performing routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance.
4. Programming and troubleshooting PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.
5. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
6. Communicating effectively with management and other team members about ongoing maintenance and repair projects.
7. Ordering necessary materials and parts for repairs or upgrades when necessary.
8. Keeping detailed records of all maintenance and repair work done, including the cause of the problem, the parts used to fix it, and any other relevant information.
Qualifications :
To be considered for the Permanent Maintenance Technician position, you must have :
1. A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
2. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with PLC systems, including programming and troubleshooting.
4. Extensive knowledge of hydraulic and / or pneumatic systems.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
10. The ability to lift and carry heavy objects and equipment.
11. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the manufacturing industry.
