Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Payroll
Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for a large number of employees (up to 200) using the Paycor and ADP software systems.
- Reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and review journal entries related to payroll transactions.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Generate and distribute payroll reports to management and other stakeholders.
- Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and tax filings.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information and ensure data security.
- Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees by promptly addressing any payroll-related inquiries or issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and accounting.
- Proficiency in using Paycor and ADP software systems.
- Strong knowledge of payroll principles, practices, and regulations.
- Experience with payroll reconciliations and journal entries.
- Familiarity with timecard systems and processing.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
