Our company, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Project Manager for our Roofing division. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of professionals passionate about the art of construction and committed to delivering high-quality projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing roofing projects from conception to completion, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This position requires a hands-on approach, with the Project Manager frequently on-site, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department, and ensuring the successful execution of all roofing projects.

Responsibilities

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for

• Overseeing all roofing projects, managing the day-to-day activities of the service department, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Developing comprehensive project scopes and proposals, and effectively communicating these to clients and team members.
• Working closely with the sales team to secure new business, and with the operations management team to ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to queries, resolving issues, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
• Implementing and maintaining safety protocols on job sites, and ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Leading, motivating, and managing a team of skilled professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Continuously monitoring project progress, making necessary adjustments, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborating with other managers and team members to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and achieve company goals.
  
  

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on roofing.
• Proven experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a service department.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices, including the development of scopes and proposals.
• Previous experience in a site superintendent or construction manager role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A track record of successful sales and operations management.
• A keen eye for detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
• A degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
