The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underground utilities, water, sewer, and storm drain construction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project management, including planning, coordinating, and executing projects within budget and timeline constraints.
- Direct and supervise construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure project success.
- Manage and mitigate project risks, resolving issues and conflicts that arise.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, including underground, utilities, water, sewer, and storm drain regulations.
- Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically with underground, utilities, water, sewer, and storm drain projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and completing construction projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
