We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Permanent Quality Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and forward-thinking team, committed to delivering high-quality products. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, testing, and inspecting products to ensure they meet specified standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our products and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Six Sigma methodologies, Root Cause Analysis, Lean Manufacturing, 8D, Quality Control, and Quality Systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement quality standards and procedures to ensure continuous production of high-quality products.
2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify any deviations from quality standards.
3. Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
4. Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
5. Implement Lean Manufacturing strategies to optimize production processes and eliminate waste.
6. Use 8D problem-solving techniques to address and resolve quality issues.
7. Monitor all operations that affect quality and work collaboratively with the production team to improve overall product quality.
8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and certifications.
9. Provide training and support to the production team on new quality control processes and standards.
10. Prepare and present quality reports to the management team.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Quality Engineer in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, Lean Manufacturing, 8D, Quality Control, and Quality Systems.
4. Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
6. Proficient in data analysis and report writing.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. Strong leadership and team management skills.
10. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) would be an added advantage.
