Are you a dynamic professional with a knack for continuous improvement and a passion for quality? We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. You will be involved in every aspect of quality control, from process improvement to product development. This role will require a comprehensive understanding of AS9100 Rev D, NADCAP, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action & Preventive Action, and other relevant quality control methodologies.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement quality control documentation; establish criteria for product acceptance and ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards.
2. Conduct internal and supplier audits to assess the effectiveness of the quality management system.
3. Interface with customers to address their concerns and ensure their satisfaction with the quality of our products.
4. Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances.
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and productivity enhancements.
6. Support the product development teams, ensuring that quality considerations are integrated into product designs from the earliest stages.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry quality standards, including AS9100 and NADCAP, and ensure that our practices align with these standards.
8. Monitor and report on the performance of the quality management system, producing data and reports on performance against key metrics.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Quality Engineering role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the aerospace sector.
3. Expertise in quality control methodologies, including AS9100, AS9100 Rev D, NADCAP, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action & Preventive Action.
4. Proven experience conducting internal and supplier audits.
5. Strong ability to interface with customers and manage customer expectations.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and process excellence.
9. Proficiency in using quality control documentation tools.
10. Experience in product development, with a strong understanding of how to integrate quality considerations into product designs.
