Job Details
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the California code of civil procedure, evidence code, as well as relevant areas of the civil code and business & professions code.
- Exhibits proficiency in various legal tasks including drafting pleadings, preparing discovery documents and responses, conducting motion practice, representing clients at hearings, conducting and defending depositions, and participating in mediations and settlement negotiations.
- Has specific expertise in real estate disputes and litigation, with additional experience in business litigation being a valuable asset.
- Possesses prior experience in private law practice, having taken responsibility for client matters under supervision and maintaining disciplined time entry.
- Shows the ability to independently identify issues, anticipate necessary next steps in litigation or discovery, and provide recommendations accordingly.
- Displays meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate work.
