As a Permanent Sales Engineer in the Plastics Manufacturing industry, you will be given a unique opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen in the dynamic and innovative MedTech sector. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in sales engineering and a deep understanding of the manufacturing process, particularly in the area of plastics. This position offers a challenging and rewarding environment where you can utilize your skills in business development, customer relationship management, and sales strategy to drive business growth and achieve strategic objectives. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of professionals and play a key role in shaping the future of our company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned territory and target segments.
  • Utilize your product knowledge to provide technical and sales support to customers and partners, addressing product-related questions and technical challenges.
  • Conduct detailed market research to understand the needs and challenges of the MedTech sector and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, tracking and reporting to senior management.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to understand product specifications and capabilities, and provide feedback on market trends and customer requirements.
  • Use your knowledge of thermal plastics and international sales experience to expand our business footprint and penetrate new markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Sales Engineer experience selling into the MedTech sector.
  • Proven experience with plastics, particularly thermal plastics.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and customer relationship management.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.
  • Experience in sales strategy development and execution.
  • Proven ability to conduct market research and sales forecasting.
  • International sales experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and partners.
