Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures and regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to provide accurate and timely financial information to management.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Review and process expense reports and receipts submitted by staff using expense reporting software.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and report variances.
- Develop and implement effective accounting policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular ledger maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and systems.
- Provide financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and other business-related software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
