We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accounting professional who is looking to take their career to the next level with a leading company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, conducting complex financial analysis, and preparing financial reports. This role requires a high level of analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal and external purposes
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insight on company operations
- Participate in budgeting processes and forecasting financial outcomes
- Manage the preparation and support of all external audits
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls and established policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain financial models for decision support
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports for board meetings
- Oversee the tax preparation, financial audits, and financial reporting processes
- Use financial software to conduct various tasks and maintain records
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or other relevant certification is preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Proven experience with financial statements, cost accounting, accounts payable, forecasting, budgeting, financial accounting, general ledger, accounting, financial reporting, tax preparation, financial analysis, management accounting, tax accounting, financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, corporate finance, financial auditing, internal controls, accounts receivable, and financial software
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and financial software applications
- Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to direct and supervise
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
