We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Cost Accounting, Purchasing, Quickbooks, Accounting Principles, Audits, and Financial Reporting. This is a full-time permanent position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records for multiple entities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations
- Assist with annual audits and tax filings
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Monitor and analyze budget variances
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting, Purchasing, Quickbooks, Accounting Principles, Audits, and Financial Reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
