Job Details
We are seeking an experienced tax attorney to join our Portland, OR tax practice. As a member of our successful team, you will work on significant projects within a full-service bi-coastal platform, enabling you to attract and grow a book of business. Responsibilities include providing day-to-day counseling to our clients on state and federal income tax matters, including structuring sophisticated transactions across various industry sectors. This role offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate in a collegial office environment while engaging in national-level matters.
You'll work alongside dedicated attorneys and staff committed to excellent client service. We provide resources and mentorship to support your professional growth and encourage involvement in pro bono and public service initiatives, including litigating significant cases to protect vulnerable populations.
Job Requirements:
JD from an ABA-accredited law school and license to practice law
LL.M. in Tax
5 or more years of income tax experience
Book of business preferred, but not required
Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills
Client-service approach and exceptional communication skills
Enthusiasm to work with and build a diverse team
Ability to manage significant individual responsibilities
