Salary $100,000 - $120,000 per year

Our client, a trusted leader in commercial construction solutions with 30 years of experience supporting national brands, is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities across the U.S. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is ready to manage high-quality commercial projects from start to finish—including retail, restaurant, and hospitality build-outs and renovations.

You’ll coordinate every aspect of the job site, ensuring subcontractors, vendors, and timelines stay in sync to deliver successful, on-budget projects—safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily on-site operations and construction teams
• Oversee subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and materials
• Ensure quality standards, code compliance, and job site safety
• Interpret and execute project plans (MEP, structural, architectural)
• Maintain jobsite documentation and track progress using field software
• Communicate issues and schedule updates to project leadership
• Manage punch lists and ensure timely project closeout
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety procedures
• Travel to multiple job sites and manage concurrent project phases
  
  

Job Details

Qualifications

Required

• 5 years as a Superintendent in commercial construction (retail/restaurant/finish-out preferred)
• Ability to manage fast-paced construction environments with multiple stakeholders
• Knowledge of safety codes, construction methods, and inspections
• Strong proficiency with construction software (Procore, Microsoft Suite)
• OSHA 10 certification minimum
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Willingness to travel and remain on-site for extended durations
  
  

Preferred

• OSHA 30 certification or heavy equipment certifications
• Previous trade school or technical training
• Experience with remodels, finish-outs, or open-store environments
