Patients who are admitted here with acute medical illnesses & chronic co-morbidities are cared for by our excellent Registered Nurses! The Medical subspecialties that our RNs care for this unit include Cardiology, Endocrinology, Pulmonary, Geriatrics, Hematology, Rheumatology, Nephrology, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases and Clinical Immunology.

Nursing grads who start here prepares them for a higher level of care, such as endo, ICU, ED, etc. It is also a great place for Registered Nurses whose interest in Psych, to obtain the training.

Qualifications And Education

• RN license in Maryland or compact state
• CPR (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (Required to be enroll in a BSN Program within one year of hire and complete the program within 5 years)
• Previous experience as a patient care tech or student nurse tech is helpful

Salary Range: Minimum 38.49 per hour - Maximum 59.66 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
