Job Description:
The Front Desk personnel will be responsible for greeting and checking in all patients and families who are visiting our facility. The Front Desk personnel will also be responsible for assisting the patient scheduling and billing and setting up new patient accounts and contracts. Filling and collecting orthodontic insurance benefits. Maintaining and organizing front desk. Assisting orthodontic assistants with patient flow.
Essential Functions:
·Greet all patients, verify patient’s name, address, insurance information, and check in or out as needed and provide with completion of medical histories and new consultations.
·Check patients in or out using our orthodontic management software and computer system.
·Answer phones, schedule new patients, and assist with patient care.
·Check patients out of the office using the same method as checking patients in.
·Maintain cleanliness of reception area and lobby area.
·Answer phones to schedule new patient appointments. Provide referrals to other staff members when necessary.
·Respond to emergencies; keep reception area and lobby area fully stocked with supplies; perform cleaning as needed.
·Other duties assigned by manager.
Requirements:
·Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
·Excellent customer service skills is a must, along with excellent communication skills in talking with other staff members and patients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
