Groundskeeper/Grounds Crew

The Jonesboro Country Club is looking to expand its team of full time crew members to maintain the functionality and beauty of the 18-hole golf course and Club grounds. Some of the positions are permanent, full time positions which are entitled to benefits. Some of the positions may have full time hours but are on a seasonal basis. Prior golf course or turf maintenance is preferred but not required. Starting rate of pay is based on experience. We are willing to train the right person(s).

Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up)
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.)
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Performs other duties as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
