Custodian Lead

Jostens, the leading manufacturer of Yearbooks and Commercial Printing products, is looking for a qualified Custodian Lead to oversee our custodian/facilities group on day shift. This position is responsible for leading the shift and maintaining good communication with department coworkers and supervisors. Areas of responsibility include cleaning the front office areas, individual offices and office restrooms. Re-supplies restroom items as required. Empties trash in production washrooms, sweeps, dusts, and mops floors according to schedule. Keeps common areas outside building clean and free of debris, and disposes of waste as directed. Maintains and orders all restroom supplies. This position also involves the operation of powered lift trucks, floor sweeper and scrubber and lawn equipment, on an as needed basis. May be required to shovel & salt employee entrances, if necessary, due to weather conditions. He/She may be assigned to perform other work duties as needed.
Qualifications:

• High School degree or GED required.
• Previous experience as a Custodian in a production environment required.
• Experience in a leadership role preferred.
• Proven team player and good leadership abilities required.
• Great communication skills - written and verbal.
• Good computer and office skills.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime with short notice.
• Works well under the pressure of deadlines.
• Must have flexibility to learn and use new technology.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent attendance record..
