Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Custodian to perform cleaning and maintenance duties across our Bruceton and Milan footprint. The Facilities Custodian will be responsible for ensuring that offices, bathrooms, common areas, and warehouses are clean, organized, and well-maintained at our Bruceton and Milan locations. This role requires an individual who can work independently, proactively identify areas needing attention, and maintain high standards of cleanliness with minimal supervision.
Working Locations, Days and Hours of Operation
Bruceton & Milan, TN
Monday - Friday
8:00 am until 4:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in office spaces, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
- Identify and address areas requiring extra attention or deep cleaning.
- Set up and take down furniture or equipment for meetings, events, or special activities.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
- Restock supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in warehouse areas when time permits.
- Assist with inventory management for cleaning and maintenance supplies.
- Ensure all safety protocols and standards are followed during tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in facilities operations or custodial roles preferred but not required
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Reliable transportation to travel between the Bruceton and Milan locations as needed.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
