Nuclear Project Manager (I&C)

Drive the future of nuclear energy as a Project Manager (I&C), leading first-of-a-kind projects focused on the design, testing, manufacturing, and installation of nuclear power plant Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems. You’ll coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, and project execution teams to deliver high-value projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Location: Houston, Texas or Remote

Travel: 25% Travel

Contract role: 40 hours a week

What You Bring

• 10 years of project management experience in nuclear or highly regulated energy industries.
• Direct experience with nuclear I&C systems — design, testing, manufacturing, or installation.
• Solid understanding of PWR systems and nuclear quality standards (10 CFR 50 App. B, 10 CFR 21, ASME NQA-1).
• Proven track record managing complex engineering or FOAK technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of PMI/PMBOK principles and Earned Value Management (EIA-748-C).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Must be eligible to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810 regulations.

• Develop and maintain project baselines, schedules, and earned value management reports.
• Coordinate across design, fabrication, and testing disciplines to ensure seamless execution.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and programmatic risks.
• Deliver consistent project status updates and performance metrics to leadership.
• Uphold a strong culture of safety, quality, and collaboration throughout all phases of work.
