CNC Router Set Up Operator

• Perform work as assigned utilizing routine and/or non-routine work cards and/or service bulletins within estimated or budgeted hours and within FAA and ZIM standards of quality with minimal assistance from supervisor.
• Perform typical CNC and Manual fabrication shop operations; operate CNC/Manual routing and drilling machines (horizontal and vertical).
• Fabricate and assemble aircraft interior parts and components as directed.
• Perform layout and prepare shop drawings as required.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment as directed in the manuals.
• Understand and maintain ZIM and customer aircraft maintenance documentation programs.
• Promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the ZIM Team Member Safety Manual.
• Use and operate safely all appropriate hand tools and other machinery associated with the Interior Fabrication shop.
• Read and use blueprints, and drawings and engineering orders.
  
  

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have own tools as required by company tool list.
• Minimum of 2 years as a CNC operator
• Minimum of 2 years in interior fabrication
• Flexible to work any shift and prolonged hours to meet schedule demands.
• Read, write and understand the English language.
  
  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Essential Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to wear and breathe through a full face respirator
• Will be exposed to hazardous chemicals, solvents, resins, and adhesives and requires the use of all safety equipment
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders and stands
• Subject to continual loud noises
