LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
$1.50/hr. Evening Shift Differential, Holiday & Birthday Pay, Paid Time Off
What will I do in this role with Judson?
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and front-line supervisory support for the nursing department on a designated assignment.
- Holds specific shift responsibility for maintaining the standards of quality for the nursing care provided to all residents on a designated assignment.
- Serves as a clinical resource to nursing associates. Provides support for Judson Services' policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal rules and regulations.
- Promotes professional nursing practices and sets the leadership example for the front-line associates.
- Accountable for the quality of care provided on designated unit for the assigned shift. The Charge Nurse supervises the work of the front-line nursing staff.
What do I need for this role with Judson?
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a clear and active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Current working knowledge of state and federal rules and regulations related to long-term care.
- Maintain a current Nursing license and practice nursing in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act for Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses.
- A CPR/BLS certification or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
