Just Kids Pediatrics/ Just Kids Therapy is looking for a dynamic, flexible, and experienced individual to assist us in providing the best Pediatric Therapy care in our community. We are currently hiring for a full-time Referral Specialist who can also assist with Prior Authorizations in our Just Kids Therapy Clinic. This unique candidate is a self motivator ready to help our Sheros navigate the wedge from insurance and our patients to get the best care possible. Spanish speaking is a PLUS, being a good human is a MUST!!
Minimum one year of medical office experience is required.
Referral Coordinator Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
REFERRAL COORDINATOR POSITION INFORMATION: Coordinates referrals and completes insurance authorizations for patients in an outpatient Pediatric Primary Care office setting. Provides clerical assistance toward the smooth operation of referrals, registration, and scheduling. Provides exceptional customer service, both in-person and over the phone.
REFERRAL COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITY:
- Process referrals and insurance authorizations.
- Submit medical documentation as needed to process referrals.
- Navigate 3rd party insurance websites for eligibility and benefit information.
- Schedule patient appointments.
- Update and enter patient demographics and insurance information into the EMR system.
Qualifications
Referral Coordinator Qualifications:
- Prior referral/authorization experience. (1yr Preferred)
- Knowledgeable of all types of insurance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Must pass a criminal background check
Salary : $17 - $19
