What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Services Rep. position at Justice Federal Credit Union?
Justice Federal Credit Union is seeking member-driven, detail-oriented candidates, with cash handling experience for the position of Financial Services Representative in our Department of Justice branch, located in Washington, DC. This onsite role is responsible for providing professional, courteous, accurate and efficient service to all members through all communication channels of the credit union.
Key Job Functions:
- Performs research to resolve member inquires and concerns and makes recommendations for solutions.
- Processes member transactions including but not limited to opening of new accounts, deposits, and withdrawals.
- Promotes the credit union and membership growth through community involvement and/or business development efforts.
- Conducting loan interviews, educating members related to the lending process, inputs data into the loan origination system and prepares documentation for disbursement and finalization.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of one month of similar or related experience. Prior experience in a banking or credit union environment is preferred.
- A high school education or GED.
- Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs., as needed, and requires extended periods of sitting and/or standing and to be able to use PC, copier, scanner, fax, etc.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation ranges are based on market data that enables Justice Federal Credit Union to remain competitive with other credit unions of similar asset size.
Employment offers are extended within the compensation range of the position; and are commensurate with candidate experience, knowledge, and geographic location.
