Family Resource Specialist

JusticeWorks YouthCare is hiring a Family Preservation Specialist! As a Family Preservation Specialist, you will be part of a team that works to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. You will be a key resource in providing support to parents aiding in the potential reunification with their children who are returning from placement. The Family Preservation Specialist will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other professionals such as social workers, psychologists, and educators. If you are passionate about working in the fields of Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice or Social Services, this is the job for you!

The qualified Family Preservation Specialist will:
- Will work with JFS to aide in reunification.
- Provide case management services and parenting classes.
- Promote inclusive, strength-based teamwork.
- Transport clients utilizing personal vehicle, as necessary.
The qualified Family Preservation Specialist will have:
- High School Diploma with one (1) year of experience with youth and their families.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
- Pass current, applicable clearances.
- Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.
