Busy Kapolei restaurant seeks skilled Sous Chef to assist in the operation of our kitchen.
Starting pay $18-$20/hr tips (Ave. $5.00/hr.)
Pay based on experience. Higher pay negotiable based on experience
Must work weekends and holidays
Create specials, maintain kitchen standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Daily duties will include inventory and ordering, personnel management, portion control, food expediting, general cleaning, equipment and facility maintenance, organization of prep lists, daily prep for lunch and dinner service.
2 yr minimum sous chef/kitchen manager/supervisory experience
or - 5 years experience having worked all stations in a kitchen
Sauté, broiler, pantry, sanitation and knife skills are musts!
Create delicious nightly specials for excellent guest experience
Excellent customer service skills,
Positive attitude and hard working,
Available to work nights, weekends, and all holidays.
Punctuality,
Ability to work well in a team environment &
Perform in high tempo & fast paced kitchen
