Linux Systems Administrator II

Kavaliro is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator II to support a client in Maryland.

Job Description:
Essential Responsibilities:

• Candidate will be responsible for providing Sr. level Linux System Administration support for the program.
• Sr. Linux (Red Hat/Rocky/CentOS) experience (15 years)

Desired:

• Puppet, Ansible, FreeIPA, RedHat KVM, NetApp, Raybird Support, experience with JIRA, Confluence.
• Any scripting experience (Bash, Python, Perl, JSON, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5 ) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Certifications:

• An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required or willingness & ability to obtain certification within 6 months of start on Program.
• At least fifteen (15 ) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required

Location:

• Fort Meade, MD
• This position is onsite and there is no remote availability.

Clearance Requirement:

• Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
