Publicly-traded manufacturing company is looking to add a dynamic Assistant Controller to their team. This position will report to the Corporate Controller and support various areas including the GL close, Financial Reporting (10K's and 10Q's), Technical Accounting, FP&A support, Internal Controls, and systems integration & optimization support. The ideal candidate has 8-15 years of experience and strong technical accounting exposure. CPA and/or public accounting experience is required.

- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and yearly GL close process
- Handle oversight of SEC Reporting (10K's and 10Q's)
- Manage technical accounting research and implementation
- Support FP&A with budgets, trend analysis, KPI reporting
- Assist with system implementation and optimization projects
- Work with Controller and leadership team to ensure controls are in compliance with SOX-404
- Oversee a team of 3
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA highly preferred
- 8-15 years of experience, preferably 2-6 years in public accounting
- Exposure to manufacturing industry preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
