A prominent entertainment and services organization located in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Financial Planning & Analysis team. The incoming Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in the organization’s annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, leveraging Adaptive Insights and collaborating across departments. This position will report to the Director of FP&A and will require three days in office per week.

- Support the organization’s annual operating budget process, working closely with department leaders to develop accurate and timely financial plans.
- Drive monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles by analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and developing actionable insights.
- Prepare and present regular variance analyses and ad hoc financial reports to senior leadership.
- Maintain and enhance financial models within Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights).
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and integration of actuals into planning systems.
- Partner cross-functionally with program and operational teams to support data-driven decision-making.
- Assist with scenario modeling, long-range planning, and special projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 3–6 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or FP&A roles.
- Proficiency with Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights) is required.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with large-scale financial systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights.
- Experience working in or with nonprofit organizations is a plus but not required.
