About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Paralegal to support our Regulatory Practice Group and other teams as needed. This role includes managing complex administrative filings with state agencies and coordinating document production for large-scale projects—both digitally and in print, including binding and distribution. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, communicates effectively, and demonstrates strong technical skills. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, a customer service mindset, and the ability to work seamlessly within our pooled paralegal team, where shared responsibilities and clear communication are key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, edit, and organize legal documents in Word, Excel, and PDF formats
- Support large, multi-jurisdictional administrative filings and hearing preparation
- Retrieve, review, and produce legal documents (both digital and hard copy, binding and distribution)
- Coordinate document workflows and deadlines with attorneys, clients, and the Paralegal Manager
- Organize and maintain electronic document records and filing systems
- Prepare exhibit lists, discovery logs, and correspondence
- Work with administrative agency personnel and coordinate with outside document vendors
- Track case deadlines, hearing dates, and filings; ensure timely communication and follow-up
- Collaborate with the firm’s Production Specialist on supplies and project planning
- Accurately record and manage billable time using the firm’s legal billing system, adhering to billable hours goals
- Participate in internal workflow discussions and contribute to process improvements
- Assist with general office and facilities support as needed
- Uphold client confidentiality and professional standards at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Prior experience in a legal or administrative support role is a plus but not required—we’re looking for someone highly detail-oriented with a customer service mindset who works well in a team setting
Minimum job requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of two years of similar professional experience required.

- Excellent attention for detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a face-paced environment with or without direct supervision and coordinate multiple projects
- Strong computer skills, including a high level of proficiency specifically with Microsoft Office and Adobe and the ability to locate specific items on the internet
- Flexibility for additional hours as needed is an asset
Physical requirements
This position requires standing, walking and moving heavy objects.
