Keith & Associates, PLLC is a small law firm located in Covington, Kentucky with an exclusive focus on matters in the areas of taxation, business, real estate, healthcare, estate planning and probate. We are seeking a full-time Accountant. The Applicant should be motivated, a team player, dependable and have a desire for advancement.
Job Duties:
· Prepare financial statements, reconcile bank accounts, and analyze information by developing spreadsheet reports.
· Prepare clients’ monthly, quarterly and yearly tax filings.
· Prepare business and individual tax returns.
· Manage and respond to notices from taxing jurisdictions.
· Answer accounting and financial questions by conducting, researching and interpreting data.
· Support the accounting team with various daily, weekly, and monthly accounting processes.
· Effectively communicate with clients and team members via email and phone.
· Assist in other projects as needed.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
· Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Advanced knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks is preferred.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· High level of discretion for confidential work and information.
· Analytical, detail-oriented and extremely organized.
· Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
· Ability to work independently and on a team.
· Have a positive and proactive work ethic.
· Must be willing to work longer hours and most weekends during tax season.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
