MISSION:
The Supply Chain Analyst will provide professional level support in the areas of purchasing, supplier interface, analysis of MRP data, forecast information from the customer and communications. Coordinate among several cross-functional teams to launch new products on time and to customer specification.

Meet or Exceed Established Inventory Turns for assigned commodity

Manage large volume of Accessories for assigned program

Analyze MRP messages to place/change purchase orders based on forecast and sales demand

Lead cross functional meetings with Order Processing, Quality, Operations and After Sales
-
Report out on week-to-week inventory changes ($$ and turns)
-
Review customer requirements to ensure sufficient stock on hand
Meet or Exceed On Time Shipping (OTS) targets for assigned commodity
-
Input internal weekly metric tracking for OTS
-
Be responsible for tracking of Back Orders, work with other departments to resolve
-
Submit backorder disputes/escalations within customer websites in timely manner ***Customer liaison? ***

Communicate inbound timing of priority parts to Operations, Order Processing, and Sales teams
-
Plan and create transfer orders between warehouses to ensure optimal stocking levels at all part locations
Build Strong Supplier Relationships and Manage Supplier Communication

Review and process price changes and invoice on holds in a timely basis
-
Ensure purchase orders have accurate pricing based on approved price changes
-
Hold regular supplier touchpoint meetings as needed
-
Be responsible for ongoing communication with suppliers
-
Complete and communicate quarterly supplier evaluations
-
Verify supplier pricing, MOQ, and lead time on quarterly basis to ensure data integrity and update MRP system
Meet or Exceed Targeted Cost Savings on assigned Program
-
Understand Supplier capabilities to support cost saving initiatives
-
Document cost avoidance and saving tracker regularly
-
Work with Freight team to identify cost saving initiatives on inbound freight
Communicate pertinent information to and support Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality
-
Interface with other Supply Chain Associates in other locations to ensure best practices
-
Assist in resolving receiving variances (delivered qty versus packing list)
-
Review shelf life on all parts within targeted program to minimize scrap exposure
-
Review and add comments to Finance SLOB reports
-
Work with other departments on cross functional improvement projects
Manage Launch of New Parts and Supersession Process
-
Responsible for initial part setups and forecast of all new parts
-
Review New Part Inspections and send to the customer upon request
-
Complete Country of Origin (COO) for all new parts and upon customer request **Compliance**
-
Work with suppliers to launch customer Initial Order Quantity (IOQ) by the Ready for Sale (RFS) date
-
Review label artwork with Compliance and communicate issues to suppliers and customer
-
Gather complete statement of requirements (BOM, usage, volume, IOQ, specification, etc.) from customer
-
Raise visibility, identify risks, and share information of upcoming launches with leadership and internal teams
-
Coordinate Product Trial Runs (PTR’s) with other departments
-
Manage product lifecycle and part changes (supersessions), avoiding obsolescence costs
-
Track supplier PPAP status; work with Supplier Quality to ensure kit PPAP is submitted/approved on time

Qualifications
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business is required; a Procurement or Supply Chain Management concentration is preferred. (Or acceptable amount of time spent in profession)

Prior experience (1-5 yrs) with Inventory Management, Purchasing, or Supply Chain is preferred.

Prior Supply Chain experience buying packaged chemicals, service/production parts, or accessories in the automotive industry is preferred.

Prior experience using MRP systems. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software (primarily Outlook, Excel and Word).

Excellent communication skills required.

Exceptional work ethic and desire to succeed. Ability to work with and build strong relationships with suppliers
Salary : $52,000 - $65,900
