A Day in the Life
The Lifeguard performs safety, lifeguard, and pool monitoring.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Enforce rules and regulations.
· Maintain discipline within the pool area.
· Rescue swimmers in distress.
· Administer first and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
· Assist with general clean-up activities.
· Conduct chlorine / acid level tests.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
· First Aid, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and CPR certifications.
· Previous experience as a lifeguard is preferred but not required
· Strong swimming skills and ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
